Garbage as a source for energy

Sweden is the 10th most clean country in the world but today I don't want to talk about how do they keep their country clean. Everyone in this world makes trash , uses garbage etc ,so logically it's not really possible to have everything clean, so how can we do it?This is what they did in Sweden. They take the garbage (and it's not only from Sweden it's also from other European countries) ,and they "make"energy from it.Newspapers are turned into paper mass, bottles are reused or melted into new items, plastic containers become plastic raw material; food is composted and becomes soil or bio gas through a complex chemical process. Rubbish trucks are often run on recycled electricity or bio gas. Wasted water is purified to the extent of being potable. Special rubbish trucks go around cities and pick up electronics and hazardous waste such as chemicals. Pharmacists accept leftover medicine. Swedes take their larger waste, such as a used TV or broken furniture, to recycling centers on the outskirts of the cities. Some Swedish companies have voluntarily joined in the struggle. For example, H&M has begun accepting used clothing from customers in exchange for rebate coupons in an initiative called Garment Collecting.

Let's follow Switzerland

Hey dear reader ,
I'm here again to talk with yo because I got a Google Alert. Do you know what is it like? It's like an alarm clock. Common things are that they wake us up and we go to change something ... Yeah, school is the biggest change-it's a pot where a lot of people understand what they will change in the world .. So  want to talk about my Google Alert Alarm Clock that always wakes me up and reminds me to continue "Change challenge". Anyway , let's start.
I was doing a research and I found out that Switzerland is in the first place as world's cleanest country. I was really impressed when I was looking at the pictures , everything was balanced and neat .So I tried to find out how do they make it and I found   this . They are having major clean ups around the places, which we already knew. But they also reduce the amount of packaging the product and they literally tell the litterbugs not to litter. I think it's a good idea to use the "trash" with art and make stuff that can actually brig any people from everywhere to see that!I liked this idea very much ! If yo did so too, then follow us on twitter and spread it as much as you can .

Started? Continue

Hey dear reader,

I hope you remember that I'm doing a campaign for cleaning up my little "peanut" country Armenia.
I've read somewhere that if yo want to have a success you have to learn how the others did it, so I created Google Alert and guess what? I found a lot of stories and information that could help me to do my "Clean up" campaign.
This is about a program that we had in Armenia 2 years ago which helped all Armenians to gather together for one goal! "WWF" - "Let's do it Armenia " project helped a lot of Armenian people ( teachers , workers , students etc ) to clean up 60% of Armenian forests and sight seeings which is pretty impressive.
But after that we still have those problems and many tourists don't go to some specific places because it's already known as " dirty" place.
Tourism is the most important thing for Armenian economy because most of the people make money by hosting tourists, working as a guide , or in a restaurant or somewhere else. And if people don't have a job they buy one way ticket to another country !
"WWF" did great job but after that we still have problems because no one continued it... Now I AM ! :)

Going up? Don't forget to clean up before you go !

My country  is really small country but despite that fact it has a lot of problems and when I start to think about the problems that we have, I ask myself a simple question . “What can I do to help solving these problems?”
Little problems are always the start of the problems with hard solutions and that’s the reason why we should do some stuff to overcome that little problems in order to have better life. Have you ever noticed that every time when you move around the cities, towns and villages in Armenia , everything starts with a place where people just throw their trash away. Every time when you enter a new zone , everything starts like that! I don’t know about you but as I have lived there for 15 years and as I was travelling throughout the whole country ,I noticed it.
In my town (in America ) , we take the trash to a certain place and I don’t really know what are they doing with that trash here(I’m doing research about that place now) but I know that trash is not “in the open air” and actually it is not in the very start of the road to Florence , it is somewhere far from the houses and schools!
Think about this. You are going to a NEW city and you see TRASH , a looooooot of trash in front of you , it SMELLS , it makes you feel bad , and it also destroys the nature. The beautiful and healthy trees , flowers , animals and the whole LIFE is dead there . What’s the reason? The reason is that people think that if they will take the trash and throw it somewhere else OUT OF THEIR HOUSES , it’ll be just so great! I always get frustrated when I start to talk about the problems that people CREATE for themselves. I don’t find the logic to go and clean the whole city and the next day throw the trash in a certain place and make a disaster.
I want a change ! That’s the reason why I became an exchange student! And if I notice something that is not good for the community I don’t sit and live just for my family and work just for my house , I think this whole world is Mine , it’s OURS so we should work together to solve the problems and to make positive changes!
Now let’s talk about the solution. As we live in the 21st century our power is our tongue in a meaning of FREE SPEECH and technology, for this case with media.
Step 1. Show people what they made!
Every city/town/village has sightseeings in Armenia and we advertise them. For example , we advertise “ The wings of Tatev”,which is the longest aerial tramway in the world , and you can see that advertisements everywhere . Why do we advertise and tell people the good stuff that they created and why aren’t we “advertising” and telling people what bad things did they made?
For the solution of this problem I would make an advertisement with pictures and I would invite people to come and see what they had made.
Step 2. People as judges!
Many people like to judge the others and to talk about the others’ problems . I would use this fact too! If Catherine’s mom is throwing the trash AWAY (not in the right place) ,and when she will see pictures of her mom doing that , and when she will go to school and her friends and her teachers will tell her that it is just so bad , she will go back home and she will tell her mom that she doesn’t want her to do that because it’s shameful. I’m 100% sure that she will do this 
There is no parent that wants her/his child to feel bad , so her mom will stop doing that and she will think about another choice.
Step 3. Gathering people
When we’ll have a lot of people having the same problems , and when they will try to find out new ways to solve that , our media (TV, radio, magazines, etc.) will talk about that a lot! Because they are doing their job , which is to talk about NEWS and that will be absolutely NEW thing. Media is there? We will not need anything else .
Step 4. Media to government is like Krispy Kreme for foreign exchange student.
As we’ll start to solve the little problems , like making certain locked places in cities and “working” with trash , we will be able to ask for more help from the Government because we’ll say. “Hey, listen , we are living in the same country , I do this for solving this problem, what are YOU doing to solve that problem?”
Guess what ? That will work ! Because if they will say “No ,we don’t have enough money bla bla bla” Media will turn on its magical power and everyone will start to talk about that topic , which will make the Government to do what people want .
